When something's so beautiful and enjoyed by so many (whilst reminding them of the simplest things in life - and allowing them to reflect on what's important to themselves and the planet) does it really need a golf course on it?

I'll answer that for you since it seems, to me, that you're a little mistaken - no.

I could go on about the supposed benefits you claim, for the local community but let's just not. I assure you I'm suitably qualified and just don't believe the figures you are offering especially when weighed against the losses the local and wider community will find themselves with. Net benefit? No. Should the Scottish Government see sense please, please think again on your proposals for Ireland too.
