We
will do our best to use existing equipment where appropriate. In the
unlikely event that his is not possible we will advise on
cost-effective upgrade options. Above is the battery from an old laptop
we've been experimenting with. It is well past it's best and holds a
charge for approximately two, or maybe three, seconds. The rest of the
laptop, however, still performs splendidly with general office and
communications tasks. The addition of more RAM would make it perfectly
capable of fairly intense image manipulation.
A
little insight into the working environment of a digital magi. Please
note two PC per desk, an outboard hard-drive stuffed to the gills with
music and, perhaps most tellingly, two mugs all too often filled with
double strength coffee.
We
have a great deal of technology for demonstrating different techniques
as well as price bands. This is a fabulous photo printer and costs
under £100 including VAT. The keyboard costs around £2 and is
supposedly coffee proof.
We
could also offer very simple animations to further describe certain
exhibits, viewable video and audio clips, virtual tours, panoramas and
demonstrations of video conferencing using our simple and affordable
web-cams.
